Matcha’s most attractive quality is its high volume of the amino acid L-theanine, which is famous for its ability to relax the mind + body while simultaneously enhancing our capacity to focus + concentrate more effectively.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Cups nut milk (I prefer coconut)
  • 1 Scoop Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen Powder
  • ½ tsp Ashwagandha powder
  • ½ tsp Reishi powder
  • 1 tsp Fourth and Heart Vanilla Bean Ghee

Method

  1. Matcha green tea uses the entire tea leaf unlike regular green tea, this is what gives it that vibrant green colour. Matcha’s most attractive quality is its high volume of the amino acid L-theanine, which is famous for its ability to relax the mind + body while simultaneously enhancing our capacity to focus + concentrate more effectively.
  2. L-theanine increases serotonin, dopamine, GABA + glycine levels (all feel-good transmitters in the brain) so not only does this beverage literally stir happiness but it also contains high amounts of antioxidants and therefore aids in preventing inflammation, and fighting free radicals (toxins) in the body.
